Top 10 list - The straight goods in plain English

Here's the plain English Version of the top 10 take-aways of the "Love My Clients" program agreement that each CGIB Member will sign electronically as part of the program sign up process. Most of this won't be a surprise, speaks common sense and represents standard language that's included in any similar agreement.  

1.  In Good Standing with CGIB

Program participants must remain a CGIB member in good standing during the entire program period. 

2.  Your bi-annual fee is good for up to 30 of your clients/employers. 

Once 30 of your clients have signed up, (essentially after reaching a value of over $20,000/year for your clients), you will have to purchase a new bi-annual fee that will be good for another 30 clients. 

3.  Some of your clients are Exempt

Find out which of your clients/employers are not eligible for this program. 

4.  No Access for Non-Clients

Fair is fair. We take our intellectual property seriously and it took us a long time to build and maintain our products. All we expect is that anyone who accesses the HR Toolkit or HR Complete does so on the up and up.  That means that you, the program participant, cannot share the unique program code or provide access to the HR toolkit or HR Complete to non-clients.  No exceptions.  Breach of this clause will result in immediate termination of the partnership with no refund for the remaining time left on the subscription, and your clients will also loose immediate access to the Program. 

5.  You can't customize ConnectsUs HR products and resell them as your own.

6.  You can't white-label ConnectsUs HR products.

7.  Annual Program agreements can't be canceled before the program period expiry date.

Well, you can cancel it, but the program is non-refundable.

8. ConnectsUs HR has a new relationship with your client

After the purchase of your program fee, ConnectsUs HR enters into a separate and distinct relationship with your client during their subscription period. Your clients create an account with us and we communicate with them to create their login and password, and ensure they have access to changes to their Program and support.  

9. If you chose not to renew your program: 

  • Your coupon code will be expired.
  • Your promotional web page will be unpublished.
  • Each of your clients will automatically be notified by our system with an email that their subscription has expired and will be invited to renew their subscription at their discretion.
  • The subscriptions of your clients who signed up will automatically be expired permanently without the ability to reactivate them in the future. If you choose to reactive the Program after the expiry date and wish to keep the same clients on the Program, ConnectsUs HR will have to manually recreate each client's account and an additional administration fee of $250 will apply. 

10.  Your clients sign a license agreement

The rules of engagement are different for your clients than they are for you - the Program Member, and your clients will sign off on the ConnectsUs HR Toolkit for Small Business license agreement
