Why are Policies not created as Individual Documents?
Individual policies are not created as standalone documents. They are all included in the provincial Employee Manual templates.
Here's why:
- Your employees want the ability to easily search and find your policies when they need them, such as when policies can be viewed in a table of contents within one document.
- If each of your policies are created in a separate document, your staff often have to search dozens, sometimes hundreds, of documents in different folders on your server - many of which are often duplicated or outdated.
- Each policy in the employee manual templates include a table that shows the revision date so everyone knows when it was last updated.
