Sue started with ConnectsUs in 2004 and was instrumental in helping to create the first ClearSite product, spending countless hours (many of them in the wee hours of the night) reviewing, formatting, and editing documents prior to launch. Sue continues to hold an important role at ConnectsUs – she’s the glue that holds everything together. Behind her easy-going nature, wicked sense of humor, and quick wit, Sue’s efficiency, customer service skills, and commitment to getting the job done are crucial to the company’s success.
Sue brings many skills to the table. She has extensive experience in finance, sales, and administration, and a strong customer service focus.
For 10 years, Sue worked as Customer Service Supervisor at Ocean Construction Supplies, a large aggregate company with annual sales of over $1 million dollars. During this time, she managed the Customer Service department and developed strong relationships with clients. Sue also worked closely with manufacturing to ensure a quality, on-time product, and oversaw the implementation of custom software to reduce customer wait time and effectively manage inventory.
Prior to joining ConnectsUs, Sue worked for BC Guide Dogs Services as Program Administrator of the Puppy Sponsorship Program. She built strong relationships with donors and increased donor participation in the program by over 400%. Sue was also instrumental in the design and implementation of custom software to better manage donor relationships and fundraising efforts.
When she’s not working, Sue is a keen volunteer. She took on an active role at her daughter’s elementary & secondary schools, acting as PAC Chair, organizing fundraiser and spirit events, as well as driving to - and cheering at - numerous sporting events.
