Create your document-based HR system.

What's wrong with implementing single documents?

Let's say you're a manager or employee (or even a new member of HR), and you're wanting to open and post a new postion to fill. If resources on this topic are available, you're often pointed to the company's public shared folder to find the resources you need. Like this.

Public HR Recruiting Folder

This type of folder-view is not optimal. It's disorganized and doesn't answer the questions your staff and managers will ultimately be asking about the process. Here's just a handful of them:

  • Who does what?  When? And how? Who creates the job desciption? Who creates the job posting? How do we keep track of applicants?  Who shortlists the applicants?  Who schedules the candidates and the interview panel? Who sends the regrets?
  • Is there a form for that?   Where is it?   Is it the latest version?   How do I fill it out?  Then what do I do with it?
  • Is there a how-to guide for interviewing? I've never interviewed before. What type of questions are off limits?  What are best practices?

Use families of templates together to create an end-to-end process.

Templates used in an end-to-end process are the same ones you download one-by-one to create stand-alone documents, but the HR Toolkit can pull a family of templates together to create as close to automation as you can get without HR software.

Example:  Opening & Advertising a New Position

Let's take a look at your recruiting process, and what the Opening & Advertising a New Position function could look like:

Process Guides

Each area of HR comes with a process guide. It provides consistent instructions for your staff.

Step-by-step instructions &
instant access to documents

Each step in the Process Guide answers the questions: who, what, when and how.

Instructions can click directly into the documents they need that are saved on your server.

Features & Benefits

  • Each process guide and accompanying forms and resources mentioned in each Process Guide:
