What Word skills do I need?

Depending on the content and complexity of the Word document you're working with, you'll need to do some or all of the following when customizing it:

  • Replace and resize a graphic
  • Cut, copy, and paste text
  • Edit and delete text
  • Use numbered lists and bullet lists 
  • Apply basic formatting and styles  
  • Copy and paste rows/columns in tables
  • Modify text and check box form fields
  • Modify, move, or delete text boxes
  • Update a table of contents
  • Insert and update hyperlinks 
  • Save a document as a read-only Word file or as a PDF
