What Excel skills do I need?
Depending on the content and complexity of the Excel workbook you're working with, you'll need to do some or all of the following as you customize it:
- Filter and sort data
- Rename or delete columns
- Modify drop-down lists
- Use basic worksheet functions like AUTOSUM, SUM, AVERAGE, and SUBTOTAL
- Rename and delete worksheet tabs
- Password-protect a workbook
- Understand and modify basic formulas and use them to add, subtract, divide, and multiply data
- Summarize data using key worksheet functions like SUMIF, SUMIFS, COUNTIF, and COUNTIFS
- Filter worksheet text using Text to Columns and Remove Duplicates
- Use group, sort, and filtering to view data
