Q: What ClearSite Complete™ product do I use if we are provincially-regulated and you do not have a product available for my province?

A: At ConnectsUs, we are always working on new products. Until a product becomes available for your province, here's what you should know:

There are only about 30 documents in ClearSite Complete™ that are province-specific - and most of them provide the same policy content, but the references to additional resources and legislated websites are different. This means that you could purchase any of the 3 ClearSite Complete™ versions available and you would have to customize the content of some of the documents marked for a particular province to ensure it follows Employment Standards and other regulatory bodies such as Human Rights and Workers' Compensation minimum requirements for your province. The rest of the documents apply to any employer in Canada. Legally-sensitive documents are easily identified.

Q: Our company operates in several provinces. Can I purchase only the policies that are different for each province?

A: If you operate in more than one province, you can purchase add-on provincial modules to complement your main ClearSite Complete™ purchase. Note: Add-on Modules cannot be purchased alone without purchasing a main ClearSite Complete™ product.

An Add-on module provides only the province-specific information that relieves you from doing the research about provincial differences.

Q: Do you have industry-specific products?

A: Unfortunately, we do not have industry specific products at this time, even though we are always working on new products. ClearSite products were created to include what employees need to know in most organizations - regardless of industry. The industry and company-specific information should be added to ClearSite as part of the customization process.

For example, if you are a manufacturing employer, ClearSite includes general safety topics. But procedures about specific chemicals used in your plant or machinery safety information will have to be added.

Q: I have a MAC. Are your products Compatible with a MAC?

A: About 10% of our customers are using our products on a MAC without any challenges. However, ClearSite Complete™ was created for a PC. While the vast majority of the functionality of Word® and Excel® are compatible on MAC, there are some instructions included in our documentation that may be different when using a MAC. If you are very familiar with a MAC and the features and functionality differences between MAC and PC we do recommend purchasing our products. Unfortunately, we cannot provide customization support for MAC customers at this time.
